Usage Tips & Recommendations
The choice of sawdust: Use fine, well-dried sawdust from food-grade wood (beech, apple tree, oak, etc.). Avoid damp or resinous chips that can generate flames or undesirable tastes.
Filling & ignition: Fill the coil with approximately 300 g. Gently light a contact point with a lighter or fire starter – the combustion will slowly progress throughout the coil.
Placement in the smoker: Place the generator at the base of the smoker or in an area designed for it, ensuring that the smoke can gently circulate towards the food, without obstruction.
Duration management: With a 300 g load, the combustion lasts about 6 to 7 hours, depending on the sawdust. Plan a refill if you are planning a longer smoking session.
Maintenance: After use, empty the unburned sawdust residues and clean the stainless steel structure. Regular maintenance ensures consistent performance.
