Choosing the right capacity for my chickens' drinker and feeder

On average, a chicken will consume between 120 and 200 grams of grain and about 250ml of water per day per individual.

Depending on how often you want to refill your chickens' feeders and drinkers, you can easily calculate the capacity that best suits your desires and their needs.

The question often arises when you are away for the weekend or on vacation

If you have 3 chickens and 1 rooster and you are away for 1 week, the 8Kg pest-resistant feeder pack and 8L stainless steel drinker will be sufficient, whereas if you are more of a frequent city trip enthusiast of 3-4 days, the 5Kg pest-resistant feeder pack and 4L drinker will suffice.
